At this point we felt we were quite behind on our storyboards that needed to be made according to the Shot List. I took on this responsibility since the rest of the group were working on making rough models of the objects in 3d we searched for and decided upon last week. The first thing I broke down was my Shot List that I was able to work through based on the main points of action and the narrative I put together during our first week. This list which I did not realize at the time, was going to change frequently based on the clarity of the boards. Thus, this was only my first draft.

I made the first 26 storyboards on the Shot List which included sequences we later modified and scenes that were then removed which proved to be unnecessary and long. We had to also consider the fact that our ‘suit up’ sequence of having our character rig wear these 3d models of the props and then move in them, was going to be increasingly difficult.

Which is why we made the decision to then omit this sequence entirely in order to understand the challenge it would prove to be and this lead me to realize the complexity of a production pipeline, where the nature of it Is that if there is even a single detail missing or wrong in the early stages it will reflect later on and cause a domino effect, so it was really important to be mindful of the time and effort taken to accomplish nearly anything.
